EKG Course Description:
This EKG Course prepares participants to identify normal as well as the abnormal cardiac rhythm. It is strongly recommended for those working telemetry units and for those planning to become monitor technicians. The course builds the students understanding and knowledge in a step-by-step fashion to broaden understanding of essential ECG concepts and focus on the skills necessary to confidently and accurately interpret ECG waveforms. Topics include: cardiac anatomy and physiology, electrophysiology, waveforms, arrhythmias, and pacemakers.
