CA CNA Continuing Education Provider Courses(CDPH Approved CE Provider Courses) Provided at our Turlock-CA, Merced-CA and Modesto-CA Locations
First Lady Permanente Education Center is an approved CA Department of Public Health provider for continuing education for Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) looking to maintain active. Its required of CNAs to obtain continuing education units (CEUs) throughout their certificate term as an active CNA. Our Continuing Education Courses meet the California State requirements and are taught by Healthcare Professionals such as RNs and LVNs with many years of Skilled nursing experience and they hold a Director of Staff Development Certificate.
All our Continuing Education Unit Courses are open to the public, please note due to demand these courses have limited space. To ensure you obtain enough hours to renew your CNA License be sure to register in advance to guarantee a spot in our courses. Continuing Education: Our Education Center is a CDPH Approved Provider for the following courses. These courses are designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of the CNA and enhance the skills in the employer based healthcare setting.
Intended Audience: This course is intended for certified nurse assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aids (HHAs) that are looking to gain certified CEUs to put toward their CNA License Renewal requirements.

Facility Contracted Rates- Facilities interested in monthly or quarterly CEU Courses at your site please email [email protected] Our Instructors will teach at your facility. CNA Unit Cost: (4) CEUs = $60 / $15.00 per CEU (8) CEUs = $100 / $12.50 per CEU (10) CEUs = $120 / $12.00 per CEU NOTE- RNA and Basic EKG do not qualify for discounted CEUs. Discounted CEUs only apply to the basic educational courses for CNAs. CNAs CEU State Requirements (California): According to the CA Department of Public Health (CDPH) all CNAs must obtain forty-eight (48) hours of In-service Training/CEUs within the certification period. A minimum of twelve (12) of the forty-eight (48) hours shall be completed in each year of the two (2) year certification at your current employer, these are call in service hours. A maximum of twenty-four (24) of the forty-eight (48) hours may be obtained only through a CDPH-approved online computer training program listed on the CDPH website. Note- If the HHA Training Program (40-hour program) was completed during the certification period, twenty-six (26) of the forty (40) hour training program may be counted toward CEUs.
Students travel from Turlock, Ceres, Modesto, Riverbank, Oakdale, Hilmar, Los Banos, Livingston, Atwater, Merced, Chowchilla, La Grange, Sonora, Ripon, Manteca, Tracy, Stockton, Lodi, Sacramento, California to take a BLS for Health Care Providers Class at First Lady Permanente Education Center. Classes are American Heart Association Certified, serving all Stanislaus County, Merced County and San Joaquin County.
