Rescheduling Policy: Rescheduling an advanced course does not apply, unless you contact 30-day notice and there is availability in the same course 30-days from initial sign up. It is the Manager Discretion to grant a reschedule, however it is not always availabile. Emergencies may arise, therefore our exemption rule would be to provide our office with a hospital note that you were admitted in which prevented you to show to class. Attendance/Late Arrivals: It is important that you show on-time to advanced courses at arrival and after lunch breaks. If you are more than 15 minutes late the Advanced Instructor has the right to drop you from the class. Please be courteousness and contact our office at (209)250-1200 to update office manager only if it is urgent you are going to arrive late.

Passing/Failing Guidelines: Pre-course assignments are required for all advanced courses- skills sessions, renewals and initial courses. If you do not provided certificate that you completed the course work for the pre-course assignments you may be dropped from the class (Due first day of class). The AHA requires that you pass the course with a 84% score & complete the core case scenarios. If you do not pass the course, you can attend the next available course date for an additional $165.00 non-passing fee, this amount is due at the time of scheduling your second-attempt class (Valid for 60 days). There are times that students may not pass, due to lack of studying and asking questions. If you are not really familiar with the course material we advise taking the two-day initial advanced course even if you are approved for a renewal. *Ask questions and engage in discussions we have small classes to encourage teamwork!
